Binance Staking Gains Momentum as 160,000 ETH Exits Lido
The volume of ethereum (ETH) locked in liquid staking platforms has dropped to 13.78 million as of January 5, 2025, marking a decline from November 2024 levels.
Lido remains the dominant player, holding 9.64 million ETH (69.96% of the market), but has lost 160,000 ETH in the past month. Meanwhile, Binance’s liquid staking platform has gained traction, adding 150,000 ETH over the same period.
This shift highlights growing competition and potential changes in user preferences, as the total locked ETH now represents 11.44% of ethereum’s circulating supply.
