Binance, Coinbase Embrace Ethereum Altcoin Project with Rollup Tech Focus
Two major crypto exchanges are stepping up to support a newly launched Ethereum-based altcoin project.
Coinbase, a prominent US exchange, announces its integration of Omni Network (OMNI) into its trading platform. With trading set to commence pending sufficient liquidity on April 17th. OMNI aims to unify Ethereum’s rollup ecosystem into a cohesive network. Coinbase designates OMNI with its “experimental label,” denoting riskier assets with lower liquidity. Simultaneously, global exchange giant Binance reveals its plans to list OMNI on Binance Launchpool for staking, followed by spot trading on April 17th.
Binance adds a seed tag to OMNI due to its lower liquidity, requiring users to pass regular quizzes on risk awareness. The OMNI project developers highlight its Ethereum-native interoperability and low-latency communication capabilities, presenting Ethereum as a unified operating system. OMNI is currently priced at $31.15, showcasing volatility within a range of $29.91 to $53.81.
