Bear Market Over? Expert Sees Altcoins Gaining Strength, Updates BTC and ETH Forecasts

Crypto strategist Michaël van de Poppe predicts altcoins are set to outperform Bitcoin soon, citing a bearish reversal signal on the Bitcoin Dominance (BTC.D) chart.

He explains that this shift indicates the end of altcoins’ underperformance during the bear market. Van de Poppe expects Bitcoin to retest key support levels before potentially rallying to $120,000-$130,000. For Ethereum, he suggests a correction to around $2,000 would be a strong buying opportunity for long-term investors.

At the time of writing, Bitcoin trades near $109,000 and BTC.D stands at 63.89%.
