BAYC Creators Double Down on NFTs: Yuga Labs Buys PROOF, Expands Ecosystem
In a major move, NFT giant Yuga Labs, known for the Bored Ape Yacht Club collection, has acquired fellow NFT project PROOF. This expands Yuga’s reach within the Web3 and NFT space, aligning with their goal of becoming the “front door” of this emerging technology.
PROOF boasts popular collections like Moonbirds, Oddities, and Mythics. Notably, Moonbirds will be integrated into Yuga’s “Otherside” platform, a virtual world under development. This move signifies both companies’ commitment to building interconnected experiences within the Metaverse.
