Arrest Made in MTI Case as Co-Mastermind Clynton Marks Faces Scrutiny
Clynton Marks, an alleged co-mastermind of the South African bitcoin Ponzi scheme MTI. Has been arrested after failing to explain the disappearance of bitcoins from his account.
Liquidators were unable to trace the missing funds despite some accounting. Prompting a court inquiry. Marks, who delegated investment and withdrawal tasks to associates, claimed he was doing his best to answer questions but struggled with his memory.
