Alo Yoga makes digital ownership easy with in-store NFT claim for customers
Alo Yoga, the popular clothing and accessories retailer, has teamed up with crypto payments company MoonPay to offer in-store NFTs. By tapping their phone against a checkout counter terminal, customers can receive a daily digital collectible featuring “daily affirmations” and focused on the concept of mindfulness. The NFTs will also provide access to mental health resources, and the company plans to offer further NFT collection opportunities via email. The minting platform is based on Ethereum scaling network Polygon, with Alo covering all minting fees. The initiative aims to make digital ownership accessible and non-technical for everyone.
