AI Meets Crypto: Terawulf’s 70 MW Data Center Marks a Bold New Move
Terawulf has secured a key deal with G42’s Core42 to customize its Lake Mariner facility in New York for AI-driven high-performance computing (HPC).
The agreement will support Core42’s deployment of advanced GPU clusters with Dell’s liquid-cooled servers, rolling out in phases by 2025. This partnership marks Terawulf’s strategic expansion into AI hosting while continuing its focus on sustainable Bitcoin mining.
CEO Paul Prager sees it as a way to diversify revenue streams and meet growing demand for scalable AI infrastructure, leveraging the facility’s zero-carbon energy. The deal also includes options for expansion, potentially increasing operations by 135 MW.
