$138 Million Fine Imposed on Marathon Digital for Contract Breach

A Los Angeles federal court jury has ordered Marathon Digital Holdings Inc. to pay $138 million to Michael Ho for breaching a Non-Disclosure/Non-Circumvention Agreement. 

Ho had provided Marathon with exclusive information about a major energy supplier, expecting them not to bypass him. However, Marathon engaged directly with the supplier without compensating Ho. Ho, recognized for his significant role in industrial-scale bitcoin mining and his extensive industry network, won the case against the crypto mining firm.
