Yellow Card Triumphs as 2023 ‘Disrupter of the Year’ in African Financial Industry
Yellow Card, the Africa-focused crypto exchange, achieved a notable milestone by winning the 2023 “Disrupter of the Year” award in the African financial industry.

Chris Maurice, Yellow Card’s CEO, sees the award as validation for the team’s efforts in solving crucial problems for businesses in Africa, particularly noting the accomplishment for a stablecoin company in traditional finance, as judged by industry professionals from institutions such as the Central Bank of Mauritania and Ecobank.
