XRPL Commons Launches New Grants Program to Boost XRP Ledger Developer Ecosystem

XRPL Commons has introduced a new grants program aimed at accelerating development across the XRP Ledger (XRPL). By providing funding, technical guidance, mentorship, and go-to-market support for open-source developers, startups, and established blockchain projects.

Backed by RippleX as part of the broader XRPL ecosystem expansion, the initiative seeks to lower barriers for builders developing decentralized finance (DeFi), payments, real-world asset (RWA), and other blockchain applications on XRPL. The program complements Ripple’s ongoing efforts to decentralize ecosystem funding and strengthen community-led innovation, offering developers greater access to capital and resources beyond traditional grant models. As competition among Layer 1 blockchains intensifies. The expanded builder support is expected to encourage more projects to launch on XRPL.
