Venture capitalist Arthur Cheong emphasizes that despite remarkable price surges in 2023, there remains a decentralized finance (DeFi) altcoin that’s yet to capture widespread attention.
Drawing focus to Akash Network (AKT), a cloud-centric DeFi protocol, Cheong highlights its exceptional potential backed by robust fundamentals and industry momentum. The project has achieved a 2x increase within a week, with minimal discussion on crypto platforms. This success underscores the notion that substantial gains can be attained without constantly chasing fleeting narratives, especially as the tailwind driving AKT has been active since January. Currently trading at $1.19, Akash Network has surged by over 100% in the past week and a remarkable 543% since the beginning of the year. Notably, the project recently launched the testnet for its Stable Payments feature, enabling traders to settle transactions using USD Coin (USDC).
