Texas Shuts Down Alleged Crypto Pyramid Scheme Promising “Zero Risk” Millionaire Returns

Texas regulators have moved to halt an alleged cryptocurrency pyramid scheme that reportedly promised investors “zero-risk”. Returns and the opportunity to become millionaires through digital asset investments.

According to state authorities, the operation allegedly used aggressive marketing tactics. Referral-based recruitment incentives, and unrealistic profit guarantees to attract participants. Regulators argue that the business showed several warning signs commonly associated with Ponzi and pyramid schemes. Including reliance on new investor funds to sustain payouts and a lack of transparency regarding how profits were generated.

The enforcement action highlights growing scrutiny of crypto-related investment programs as regulators continue cracking down on projects that make exaggerated wealth claims or target retail investors with promises of guaranteed returns. Investors are being reminded that legitimate investments carry risk and that claims of high returns with little or no risk should be treated with extreme caution.
