Sygnum’s Institutional Investor Survey Reveals Growing Crypto Advocacy

Sygnum’s inaugural institutional crypto market report reveals a significant shift from skepticism to advocacy among institutional investors, with over 80% recognizing the crucial role of crypto in the global financial industry.
The survey, conducted with 150 respondents, highlights that 87% invest in blockchain protocol tokens like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana, while 57% plan to increase their crypto asset allocation in the future. The report indicates that 66% invest in crypto to gain exposure to the megatrend, and 46% cite portfolio diversification as a key driver. Among those maintaining or increasing crypto allocations, 62% anticipate higher future returns.
Notably, 37% view crypto as a superior investment to traditional assets, emphasizing its appeal as a hedge in traditional markets. The preference for direct token investments remains strong, showcasing a clear inclination for direct ownership and yield generation through staking.
