Swiss Crypto Bank SEBA Rebrands as AMINA for a New Era in Finance

The Swiss crypto bank SEBA Bank AG revealed a rebranding, adopting the name AMINA Bank AG.
Based in Zug, Switzerland, the bank has held FINMA authorization to offer banking services since 2019. The rebrand, according to AMINA, symbolizes a new era in the company’s growth and strategy, with the name derived from “transamination,” signifying the transference of one compound to another. Franz Bergmueller, the CEO of AMINA, emphasized the bank’s role as a key player in crypto banking, dedicated to shaping the future of finance with a client-focused approach.
The rebrand aims to offer investors a platform to securely build wealth under the highest regulatory standards. Despite the name change, AMINA assures clients that operations will continue seamlessly. The bank’s Abu Dhabi branch and subsidiaries in Hong Kong and Singapore will also undergo name changes to align with the Zug headquarters. Notably, AMINA recently secured a license to offer services in Hong Kong, aligning with the region’s evolving crypto regulatory framework.
