Survey Reveals 40% of U.S. Investors Anticipate Crypto Inclusion in Future Portfolios, Grayscale Reports

Grayscale’s recent poll reveals that 40% of American investors plan to incorporate digital assets into their future portfolios. The survey, titled “2024 Election:
The Role of Crypto,” indicates that while the collapse of FTX hindered digital asset industry growth, the tide is now turning. Despite the overall concern about inflation, only those familiar with digital assets express increased interest in acquiring Bitcoin. Often seen as a hedge against currency devaluation. The survey suggests that greater education may be needed to facilitate mainstream adoption.
Additionally, younger generations, particularly Gen Z and Millennials, show a greater openness to crypto assets, especially with clearer regulatory guidelines, as indicated by 54% and 58% respectively agreeing that “Crypto and blockchain technology are the future of finance.” Moreover, 68% of respondents aged 18-34 express a likelihood to invest in crypto with clearer policies and regulations in place.
