Strategy Positions Bitcoin as a Potential Global Reserve Asset in New Investor Guide

Strategy has released a new Bitcoin investor guide arguing that BTC could evolve into a global reserve asset, with Executive Chairman Michael Saylor highlighting its fixed supply, decentralized network and portability as characteristics that distinguish it from traditional currencies and commodities.

The guide presents Bitcoin as a potential long-term store of value while covering ownership, portfolio allocation, custody and the risks investors should consider. Strategy’s thesis extends beyond Bitcoin as “digital gold,” positioning BTC as a potential form of reserve capital, institutional collateral and high-value settlement infrastructure for corporations, banks and eventually sovereigns. However, the guide also acknowledges Bitcoin’s volatility, regulatory uncertainty, custody risks and relatively short history compared with established reserve assets. The publication reinforces Strategy and Saylor’s broader view that Bitcoin could become increasingly integrated into the global financial system as institutional adoption expands.
