Ripple Strengthens APAC Presence Through Blockchain Education Programs

Ripple has committed over $5 million through its University Blockchain Research Initiative (UBRI) to boost blockchain research and education across the Asia-Pacific region.
The investment supports academic institutions in six countries, including new grants in Taiwan and Australia and renewed partnerships in South Korea, Japan, and Singapore. Key collaborations include Korea University, Kyoto University, NTU, NUS, NKUST, ANU, and Victoria University, with a focus on advancing blockchain innovation, real-world asset tokenization, and global adoption. This move strengthens APAC’s role as a leader in digital finance and blockchain development.
