PayPal Expands Services with Crypto Features for Businesses
PayPal has launched a new feature allowing U.S. merchants to buy, hold, and sell cryptocurrency directly from their business accounts. Though it is not yet available in New York.
This expansion responds to increasing demand from businesses for similar cryptocurrency services offered to individual consumers. Business account holders can now also transfer cryptocurrencies to third-party wallets, enhancing their transaction capabilities. PayPal has been actively increasing its involvement in digital currencies, having previously introduced the stablecoin PayPal USD (PYUSD) and integrated it with the Solana blockchain for greater flexibility in transactions.
