The surge follows BlackRock’s push to bring ETFs onto blockchains and Ondo’s own launch of more than 100 tokenized U.S. stocks and ETFs on Ethereum through its Global Markets platform.

Investor enthusiasm is fueling growth, with Ondo’s total value locked nearly tripling this year to $1.57 billion, according to DefiLlama. Analysts say strong early traction and backing from partners like WisdomTree give Ondo a regulatory edge and position it well for long-term adoption in tokenized real-world assets.
