NYSE Parent Intercontinental Exchange Invests in Crypto Exchange OKX at $25B Valuation

Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), the parent company of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), has made a strategic investment in crypto exchange OKX, valuing the platform at approximately $25 billion.
The deal highlights growing interest from Wall Street institutions in digital asset infrastructure as traditional financial firms increasingly explore partnerships with major crypto platforms.
As part of the partnership, ICE plans to license OKX’s cryptocurrency price data to launch U.S.-regulated crypto futures, while OKX may provide its global user base access to ICE’s futures markets and potential tokenized equities linked to NYSE-listed assets. The collaboration aims to bridge traditional finance and blockchain markets, reflecting deeper integration between institutional trading infrastructure and the crypto ecosystem.
