NFT Project y00ts Set for Ethereum Mainnet Migration Amid DeGods’ Season 3 Launch
DeLabs’ NFT profile picture (PFP) project, y00ts, previously migrated from Solana to Polygon, and now it’s preparing for another migration—this time, to Ethereum’s mainnet.
This move coincides with the introduction of DeGods’ “Season 3” content, a high-value PFP collection that also transitioned from Solana earlier this year. While the migration date remains undisclosed, DeLabs founder Rohun “Frank” Vora expressed the rationale for this move, aligning y00ts with the same blockchain as DeGods. Polygon Labs, a supporter of Polygon’s development and projects, granted DeLabs $3 million for the initial migration from Solana, but now y00ts’ departure from the Polygon ecosystem will result in the full return of this grant.
A significant portion of the returned funds will support native creators and projects within Polygon’s realm. The market has warmly embraced the news, as evidenced by the raised floor price of y00ts NFTs on the OpenSea marketplace. DeGods, as one of the market’s valuable NFT projects, has also contributed significantly to Polygon’s PFP ecosystem growth, playing a substantial role in its expansion.
