NFT Market Sees 46% Sales Decrease from May to Last Month
June saw a sharp decline in the NFT market, with sales plummeting by 46.31% compared to May’s $479.15 million total.
According to data from Cryptoslam.io, Ethereum-based NFTs dominated with $146.10 million in sales, down 50.15% from May. Bitcoin NFTs followed with $114.42 million, a 48.34% decrease. In contrast, Polygon NFTs showed resilience, climbing 5.24% to $82.43 million. Solana and Mythos followed with $74.19 million (down 38.64%) and $19.93 million (down 20.3%), respectively.
June’s top collection was Bitcoin’s Pizza BRC20 NFTs, achieving $29.17 million in sales. Ethereum’s Cryptopunks led individual sales, with Cryptopunk #627 selling for $836,149. Despite market challenges, Polygon’s performance highlights a complex landscape for NFTs going forward.
