Nasdaq Seeks Green Light From SEC for Dogecoin ETF Listing

Nasdaq has filed a proposal with the SEC to list the 21Shares Dogecoin ETF, offering investors indirect access to DOGE through traditional brokerage accounts.
Managed by 21Shares US, the ETF will passively track dogecoin’s performance using the CF DOGE-Dollar Index, holding actual DOGE with Coinbase Custody as custodian. Share creation and redemption will occur in cash, avoiding speculative tools like leverage or derivatives. Nasdaq emphasizes strong regulatory compliance, including surveillance protocols and an information-sharing agreement with Coinbase Derivatives.
If approved, this ETF would mark a significant step in bringing meme coin exposure to mainstream financial markets.
