Mastercard Introduces Crypto Debit Card for Self-Custodial Wallets in Europe Through Mercuryo Partnership

Mastercard has launched a new crypto debit card in Europe, partnering with Mercuryo to facilitate transactions.

This card allows users to spend over 40 cryptocurrencies directly from their self-custodial wallets at over 100 million merchants across Europe. Mercuryo, a European crypto payments provider, processes transactions in euros, simplifying everyday digital asset use.

Unlike the Metamask card, which supports a limited range of cryptocurrencies and is exclusive to Metamask users, the Mercuryo card offers broader wallet compatibility and supports more digital currencies, marking a significant advancement in integrating cryptocurrencies into everyday financial transactions.
