Linea Unveils $1 Billion Ignition Program to Boost DeFi Liquidity

Linea has launched Ignition, a ten-week incentive program distributing 1 billion LINEA tokens. To strengthen liquidity across leading DeFi protocols including Etherex, Aave, and Euler.

Unlike traditional reward models, the program uses Brevis’s zero-knowledge proof technology to ensure decentralized, trustless, and transparent reward calculations. Liquidity providers on Etherex will be rewarded for reducing slippage and supporting deeper pools. While Aave and Euler participants earn based on time-weighted vault share, lowering borrowing costs and reducing liquidation risk.

Linea says Ignition is designed to promote “useful liquidity” rather than raw capital, positioning the initiative as a sustainable model for incentive-driven DeFi growth.
