Gucci Offers Special Rewards to Those with Vault Material NFTs

Gucci Material NFT holders can now exchange their tokens for either a Gucci bifold wallet or a Gucci x 10KTF co-branded duffle bag.
The redemption option comes after much anticipation surrounding the utility of the 2,896 NFTs minted in March. The Gucci-owned brand introduced a redeem facility on the 10KTF.shop platform, where one Gucci Vault Material NFT can be exchanged for the wallet, while three tokens are required for the duffle bag. The playful copywriting accompanying the duffle bag and wallet descriptions adds to the appeal of the rewards. A comparison of prices reveals that the duffle bag offers a better deal for collectors, as the retail value of an identical-looking wallet is $460, while a similar version of the duffle bag without the 10KTF logo costs $1,790. The Material NFT is currently available on Opensea for 0.22 ETH, approximately $412.
Founder of M7 Innovations, Matt Maher, who redeemed his token for the Gucci wallet, noted the “play-to-earn” model’s potential to gain popularity in the future, bridging the digital and physical worlds. Maher highlighted the smart strategy of rewarding token holders with physical luxury products, benefiting both Gucci loyalists and Web3 enthusiasts. Collaborations like Gucci’s with 10KTF demonstrate how traditional luxury brands can complement Web3 native brands, fostering exclusivity and rarity.
