Gemini Titan Enters U.S. Prediction Markets With Regulated Yes-or-No Event Contracts

Gemini’s affiliate Gemini Titan has received regulatory approval from the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission to launch prediction markets that let users trade simple yes-or-no event contracts on future outcomes.

Marking a major new offering in the regulated crypto finance space. U.S. customers will soon be able to use U.S. dollars in their Gemini accounts to speculate on questions about financial, economic and other real-world events, with a web platform rollout expected first and mobile support coming later. The move positions Gemini alongside established licensed platforms and expands its product suite, potentially laying the groundwork for future derivatives such as crypto futures, options and perpetual contracts
