Five Ether ETFs Set for Listing on Cboe Tuesday, Pending Regulatory Green Light
Cboe, the Chicago Board Options Exchange, plans to list five new ether exchange-traded funds (ETFs) on July 23, 2024. Pending regulatory approval.
The ETFs include offerings from 21shares, Fidelity, Franklin, Invesco Galaxy, and Vaneck, and will be traded on the BZX Exchange. Although the SEC approved the necessary Form 19b-4 filings for eight spot ether ETFs in May.
These funds still await S-1 registration statement approval. Analysts, including Bitwise CIO Matt Hougan, anticipate initial volatility but predict that the ETFs will positively influence ether prices, potentially pushing ETH above $5,000 by year-end.
