Crypto ATM Installations Surge Globally After Initial 2023 Decline

In the past four months, global crypto ATM installations have rebounded after removing over 5,000 machines from service in the initial four months of 2023.
Since the debut of the first bitcoin ATM in 2013, there has been a significant increase in bitcoin and crypto ATMs worldwide, with the United States as a primary market. The rising popularity of digital currencies, user-friendly interfaces, and the demand for decentralized finance solutions attribute to this growth. Crypto ATMs offer a convenient method for users to buy and sell digital assets using cash or credit/debit cards.
Data shows that net growth has partially recovered since the earlier slump, with 1,692 installations in May, 590 in June, and 412 in July. Presently, there are approximately 36,205 machines globally, with the United States hosting the majority.
