Crypto Asset Insights Hashkey Capital And FTSE Russell Introduce Three Innovative Indices
Hashkey Capital has partnered with FTSE Russell, a subsidiary of the London Stock Exchange Group, to introduce three indices designed to track the performance of various segments in the digital asset market.
The collaboration aims to provide investors and traders with a comprehensive view of crypto assets. Starting from January 24, 2024, these indices will be accessible on the FTSE Russell website, with plans to extend availability to data providers like Bloomberg, Factset, LSEG Data and Analytics, Morningstar, and S&P Capital IQ in the future.
The indices include the FTSE Custom Digital Asset Top 20 Index, monitoring the top 20 crypto assets by market capitalization; the FTSE Custom Digital Asset Infrastructure Index, focusing on foundational assets in the crypto ecosystem; and the FTSE Custom Digital Asset Application Index, tracking assets related to staking and decentralized finance (defi). This collaboration reflects the growing demand for diversified digital asset investments, as highlighted by Hashkey’s recent $100 million Series A funding round and its comprehensive capital markets license obtained in Singapore.
