Coinbase Launches 24/7 Stock Futures Trading, Expanding Into Global Equity Markets

Coinbase has introduced 24/7 stock perpetual futures trading, allowing global users to gain continuous exposure to major U.S. equities through its derivatives platform.

The product offers leveraged, synthetic exposure to stocks like Apple, Tesla, Nvidia, and Amazon, marking a major step in blending traditional finance with crypto infrastructure. The contracts are cash-settled in USDC and offer up to 10x leverage on individual stocks and 20x on ETF products. Giving traders access to round-the-clock markets without relying on traditional brokerage systems. The offering is currently available to non-U.S. users, reflecting regulatory constraints while targeting global demand for continuous equity trading.

The launch highlights Coinbase’s broader ambition to become an “everything exchange”, where users can trade crypto, stocks, and other assets in one place.
