BRICS’ July Plan: Ron Paul Anticipates the End of Dollar Dominance

Ron Paul asserts that the BRICS bloc, comprised of Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, Egypt, Ethiopia, Indonesia, Iran, and the UAE, plans a “Rio Reset” in July at their Rio de Janeiro summit to undermine the U.S. dollar’s global financial dominance.
Paul warns this strategic shift could significantly impact the U.S. economy, reducing the dollar’s purchasing power and destabilizing American retirement funds. He highlights central banks’ increasing gold reserves as evidence of this growing move away from dollar dependency.
While BRICS nations do not aim for a single currency, they actively promote trade settlements in local currencies, with Russia reporting that over 65% of their trade with other BRICS countries now uses national currencies.
