Blockchain Collaboration: Nigerian Think Tank Partners with Japanese Tech Company
The Nigerian Institute of Social and Economic Research (NISER) has partnered with Japanese tech firm Soramitsu to boost its faculty’s blockchain expertise.
Soramitsu will focus on areas like SORA, central bank digital currencies (CBDCs), and Hyperledger Iroha. The collaboration aims to create a blockchain knowledge base and support Nigeria’s development through research and innovative projects that enhance financial inclusion and reduce economic inefficiencies.
This partnership comes as Nigeria increasingly embraces blockchain technology to drive its digital transformation efforts.
