Bitcoin Miners See Relief as Hashprice Rebounds After Slow Month
Bitcoin miners are seeing relief after a sluggish September as hashprice has risen 10.33% in the past month, with nearly 9% of the increase occurring in the last four days.
On August 29, hashprice was at $42.98 per petahash per second (PH/s), but now sits at $47.42. This boost is largely due to a recent rise in Bitcoin’s price and a 4.6% reduction in mining difficulty.
However, with slower-than-average block times and an upcoming difficulty adjustment, miners are still struggling to match August’s $851.36 million revenue, having earned only $761.79 million so far in September.
