Bitcoin Frontier Fund Unveils Accelerator Program Aimed at Driving Mainstream Adoption

The Bitcoin Frontier Fund, previously named Stacks Ventures, has revealed an accelerator program aimed at promoting the adoption of Ordinals.
A Bitcoin-based protocol introduced earlier this year by developer Casey Rodarmor. Led by entrepreneur Trevor Owens, the fund plans to offer mentorship and $100,000 seed investments to multiple startups. Ordinals enables the creation of NFT-like assets on the Bitcoin network, generating innovations such as BRC-20 tokens. Owens believes that building during the current market conditions could lead to the emergence of significant startups.
The accelerator, spanning four months, will prepare accepted companies for funding and includes notable mentors like Amanda Terry and Kevin Henrikson. Despite initial controversy and recent reduced activity, Owens maintains that Ordinals represents a pivotal shift in Bitcoin’s application landscape.
