Binance’s European User Survey Unveils Strong Crypto Optimism And Usage Patterns

Binance’s recent survey of European users in France, Spain, Italy, and Sweden sheds light on the optimistic outlook for cryptocurrency in the region.
Conducted between October 14 and November 8, 2023, with 10,498 participants, the survey reveals that 73% of respondents are optimistic about the future of cryptocurrency. Notably, 55% exclusively use cryptocurrencies for everyday purchases, while 24% conduct over half of their trades in crypto. The survey reflects diverse crypto applications, including 34% for long-term trading, 26% for saving, 13% for day trading, and 9% for routine purchases.
Rachel Conlan, Binance’s CMO, expressed delight at the high level of optimism, highlighting the growing interest in crypto and blockchain technologies. She emphasized Europe’s active role in paving the way for mainstream adoption of digital assets, particularly through the implementation of a secure regulatory framework via MiCA. Among survey participants, 82% have actively engaged in crypto for at least a year, driven by factors such as the potential for high returns, decentralization, and innovation.
