Binance Restores Real-Time Bank Transfers for Australian Users

Binance Australia has reinstated real-time bank transfers and PayID deposits and withdrawals for its local customers after more than two years of limited banking access. Reopening direct Australian dollar (AUD) funding channels that were disrupted in 2023 due to banking partner issues and compliance adjustments.

This restoration now allows verified users to move funds instantly between their bank accounts and the Binance platform via PayID or standard bank transfers, significantly improving fiat on-ramps and off-ramps for AUD trading. The service was rolled out in phases throughout late 2025 and is now fully available to all Australian users. Marking a major shift in the exchange’s banking connectivity in the region. By bringing back traditional banking rails, Binance Australia aims to enhance user experience and competitiveness in the local market. Reducing reliance on debit/credit cards or third-party payment methods that previously slowed transactions and increased costs for traders.
