Aave Labs Discontinues Avara Branding While Preserving Infrastructure in Aave Ecosystem

Aave Labs has announced the discontinuation of the Avara brand. Choosing to integrate its technology directly into the broader Aave ecosystem while retaining the core infrastructure.

Although the Avara label will be retired, its underlying protocols and technical innovations will remain part of the family of products supporting decentralized finance (DeFi) on Ethereum and other networks.

This strategic shift reflects Aave Labs’ effort to streamline product offerings and concentrate on strengthening its flagship suite of DeFi tools while avoiding brand fragmentation. By folding Avara’s capabilities into the main Aave infrastructure, the team aims to enhance cohesion, reduce operational complexity. And ensure that users and developers benefit from unified, robust DeFi building blocks.
